First, clean the stairs thoroughly to ensure they are dry and free of dust or oil. Peel off a small section of the liner and fix one end of the Anti-Slip Tape to the edge. Pull out the required length and cut the excess, then pull the tape taut (straight) before pressing it down. This “pull-straight” technique prevents the tape from going crooked. Finally, press firmly from the center out to the edges to remove air bubbles.
For Residential Use, these anti-slip step tapes typically last 5 to 8 years with normal home traffic. For Commercial Use, the surface stays sharp and effective for 2 to 5 years. Once the grit starts to look “bald” or smooth, simply peel it off and apply a new strip to ensure the stairs stay safe.
