Self Adhesive Aluminum Duct Tape | High-Performance Foil Tape for Ductwork
Tanyo aluminum foil tape utilizes a high-purity aluminum substrate, featuring exceptional light and heat reflectivity. It effectively blocks ultraviolet (UV) rays and reflects over 95% of thermal energy.
The product is specifically designed for sealing seams, providing thermal insulation, flame retardancy, and long-term protection in various industrial pipelines and HVAC ducts.
We adhere to a high-adhesion pressure-sensitive adhesive formulation, ensuring robust sealing performance even under extreme temperature variations.
Professional Aluminum Foil Tapes Solutions for Every Ducting Need
To address diverse engineering needs worldwide, Tanyo has precisely developed four physical structures: pure aluminum foil, fiberglass, reinforced interlayer, and butyl rubber, achieving comprehensive coverage from conventional HVAC sealing to protection in extreme working conditions.
As a professional tape manufacturer, we maintain a ready stock of various thicknesses and colors to ensure rapid delivery of global orders. Simultaneously, Tanyo fully supports deep OEM/ODM customization; whether for wholesale or bulk purchases, we offer a highly competitive pricing system and robust supply chain assurance.

Made with high-purity aluminum foil as the base material, coated with high-performance pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. It features excellent thermal conductivity and long-lasting adhesion. The material is soft and can perfectly conform to various irregular metal surfaces.
Thickness: 2 mil / 3 mil (0.05mm – 0.07mm)
Width: 48mm, 50mm, 75mm
Length: 45M, 50M
Temperature range: -30°C to +120°C
Peel strength: ≥ 15 N/25mm
Specific application scenarios: Air conditioner copper pipe wrapping, air duct sealing for general ventilation, HVAC insulation, and dryer vent seam treatment.

Composed of aluminum foil laminated with high-strength fiberglass cloth, it offers excellent flexibility and thermal stability. It not only reflects over 95% of heat but also maintains structural integrity in high-temperature environments. Effectively prevents fire spread, making it a professional choice for industrial-grade insulation.

Yes, aluminum foil tape conducts electricity. Its substrate is metallic aluminum, which provides excellent electrical conductivity. Do not use it as ‘insulating tape’; specialized electrical insulating tape must be used for safety.
You can first use an industrial heat gun or a household hair dryer to evenly heat the tape’s surface, softening the pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back and reducing its stickiness. Once the adhesive layer loosens, peel it off slowly. Any remaining adhesive residue can be easily wiped clean with alcohol or a dedicated adhesive remover.
Yes, but surface pretreatment is required. The aluminum foil surface is extremely smooth, and painting directly will cause the paint to peel off easily. You can lightly sand the aluminum foil surface with fine-grit sandpaper to improve adhesion, apply a metal-specific primer, and then paint over it.
The instantaneous temperature at the engine outlet or exhaust manifold often exceeds 400°C. The adhesive on ordinary aluminum foil tape will carbonize, fail, or even smoke due to overheating. Even Fiberglass Aluminum Tape can only provide temporary sealing and should not be used as a long-term sealing tape.
