The peel strength of thin acrylic adhesive tapes typically ranges from 3 N/cm (approximately 300 gf/cm) to 20 N/cm (approximately 2000 gf/cm); whereas the peel strength of acrylic foam tapes is significantly higher, with a typical range usually from 10 N/cm (approximately 1000 gf/cm) to 60 N/cm (approximately 6000 gf/cm) or even higher.
Ordinary acrylic tape can easily damage walls when removed. A specially designed removable acrylic tape causes less damage to walls, but still cannot guarantee no damage at all. If the wall is damp or improperly handled, it may still cause wall damage.
